Dark Angels Fresh Cleanser

Angels On Bare Skin’s darker cousin, Dark Angels is the perfect cleanser for those who like a deeply cleansing and exfoliating scrub.

Like all of Lush’s fresh cleansers, to use Dark Angels you just need to take a pinch of the product and add water, then mush it into your hands until it creates a paste and then use it to cleanse. Now I’m gonna say it’s best to use Dark Angels in the shower and in the shower only! All of Lush’s fresh cleansers can be messy but Dark Angels is for sure the most messy due to the fact that it’s literally jet black in colour and can stain light coloured carpets and towels.

Dark Angels is perfect for a deep cleanse and to remove blackheads and help prevent spots. It contains Rhassoul Mud which is cleansing and softening and also combats excess oils and sebum on the skin’s surface meaning this cleanser is great for anyone with oily and blemish prone skin.

Black Sugar and Powdered Charcoal are the scrub in this product. The different sized exfoliants are really effective at removing dirt and dead skin cells. Charcoal and Sugar are excellent natural alternatives to plastic microbeads which are incredibly damaging to the environment.

Avocado Oil and Vegetable Glycerine help to keep the skin nourished after all the scrubbing, meaning Dark Angels doesn’t leave the skin feeling dry and raw. Avocado Oil is also full of vitamins which help the skin cells regenerate giving you a fresh and bright complexion.

The earthy scent is a mixture of calming, meditative Sandalwood and Rosewood Oils. it’s a little strong for some people but you can look past that for how effective the product itself is. Sandalwood and Rosewood are also effective at calming and soothing as well as balancing the skin’s sebum production out.
