This holiday season, alongside Cranberry Fizz, Lush also decided to re-release a favourite lip scrub from last year’s range – Sugar Plum Fairy.
Although it’s called Sugar Plum Fairy, it doesn’t really relate to anything in the Plum Rain scent family, nor does it actually contain any plum whatsoever! Oddly enough, the flavouring and the scent mainly comes from the inclusion of Sweet Wild Orange Oil.
The Sweet Wild Orange Oil gives the product it’s sweet and tangy taste and if you didn’t know what it was, you might be inclined to think it to be Blackcurrant or Raspberry flavour. Like always, the Lip Scrubs are basically just Jojoba Oil and Caster Sugar, so they’re completely safe to ingest, you simply apply to your lips and lick it off.
The scent reminds me of flavoured fizzy drinks but again, it’s more of a berry-like scent, rather than anything citrusy.
I’m afraid there’s nothing particularly special about this Lip Scrub, there’s no extra ingredient that makes it stand out amongst the others, but I guess it’s a nice alternative to Bubblegum for those who like extra sweet flavours.
If you think you’d like Sugar Plum Fairy, make sure you grab one for yourself while stocks last! You can purchase it over at the Lush UK website.
