More Tea And Sympathy is a new bath bomb for 2019’s Mother’s Day range and originally it was the one I was most looking forward to trying, however in my store it’s been so popular I’ve only just managed to get my hands on one!
More Tea And Sympathy is a beautiful pink teapot-shaped bath bomb that’s decorated with pretty Blue Cornflowers on either side, though arguably the most interesting thing is the long string coming out of it’s tip, which is actually attached to an Earl Grey teabag inside the bath bomb! A while ago, there was a bath bomb called just ‘Tea and Sympathy’ which was white and contained a Chamomile Tea Bag inside it, and now available at selected shops including Lush Liverpool Spa and Lush Harajuku. More Tea And Sympathy seems to be based on that idea, but just more.
Along with its attractive design, comes a beautiful scent that was created by Mark Constantine himself. He blended uplifting Bergamot and Neroli Oils with Green Tea Absolute and what was created was a powdery sweet and fruity fragrance that has a slight herbal hint and is incredibly moreish. I’d absolutely love to see more of this scent in the future! Dare I say a perfume? It really is that good!
In the water, this teapot is rather a slow fizzer, maybe ten minutes or so had passed until all that remained was the teabag. But I loved watching it, the cloudy tones of pink slowly merged into one deep colour and with the Cornflowers floating throughout, it was so visually stunning. What you’re left with isn’t your everyday run-of-the-mill teabag either, the tea leaves are beautifully wrapped up in cute little muslin bag. Naturally the tea starts to infuse the water but because it’s only little, but doesn’t add anything to the colour, however pick it up and you’ll be able to smell the familiar aroma, it’s a real nice touch.
Once I was in, the water felt lovely and I enjoyed a good long soak with the heady scent staying throughout. Green Tea is thought to be very antioxidant, very soothing and very antibacterial so I was looking forward to a nice cleansed and refreshing feeling after, which is just what I got. My skin also felt heavenly soft and I was smelling my arms for hours after because they stayed smelling so good!
In conclusion, I am so glad More Tea And Sympathy was as good as it is because sadly it’s a little on the expensive side at nearly £8, but I absolutely love it and I’m gonna say it’s worth it! I can’t wait to buy my mum, a massive tea drinker, one of these for Mothers Day, she’s going to love it! Grab yours soon because she’s proving to be pretty popular!
