Bath, Bath Bombs

Lamb Bomb Bomb Bath Bomb

I’ve been eager to use my Lamb Bomb Bomb for a while now, because I just knew I was in for a real treat. Along with Bunny Bomb Bomb, this limited edition product was released for this year’s Easter range.

Looking like an adorable little sheep, Lamb Bomb Bomb is by far one of the cutest bath bombs Lush have ever designed. Like the others of its kind, it’s a two in one bath bomb comprised of a head and a body. For £9.95, you’re probably better off using it across two baths but I prefer to get the full experience!

It has a gentle fragrance that reminds me of warm vanilla ice cream and is honestly to die for. The creamy essence of Cocoa Absolute meets cooling Peppermint Oil and results in a white chocolatey fragrance that’s comforting and moreish. The mint isn’t at all overpowering, as minty fragrances can be, so don’t let that put you off, it’s a lot sweeter than you might think.

Even though I chose to use both pieces of this product in the same bath, in all honestly the effects were enough to warrant splitting them up for sure! Each half fizzed away fairly slowly, sending out streams of white foam with a hint of blue amongst it. Once fully dissolved the water had turned a creamy shade of blue and was covered in layer of creamy white milk on the surface which then covered my skin once I was in.

The indulgent milky water is thanks to the addition of lots of protein-rich Soybean Flour. When Soybean Flour is put in contact with warm water it creates a rich, softening milk that will soothe and hydrate the skin. It honestly makes the water feel so silky on your skin, making for a really luxurious bath.

One thing that was slightly disappointing however, was that although initially when Lamb Bomb Bomb has started fizzing it sent out a great waft of the gorgeous scent, after it dissolved the fragrance vanished fairly quickly and left practically no lingering aroma on my skin after I was out.

Saying that, Lamb Bomb Bomb is still a winner for me as my skin feels so hydrated and silky smooth after my bath and I am truly impressed. I do wish the scent had more staying power but hopefully if Lush decide to release it in a bath bomb form again, it’ll be a little stronger. I think this is actually my favourite product from the entire Easter range!
